Constituent Valleys

The State of Connecticut is home to five Scottish Rite Valleys, all of which are in the judisdiction of the Connecticut Council of Deliberation. The Council has legislative and judicial powers that are not reserved specifically for the Supreme Council, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction. The five Valleys are the Valley of Bridgeport, the Valley of Hartford, the Valley of New Haven, the Valley of Norwich, and the Valley of Waterbury.

Each Valley is comprised of four subordindate bodies: a Lodge of Perfection, that confers the 4° through the 14°; a Council of Princes of Jerusalem, that confers the 15° and 16°; a Chapter of Rose Croix, that confers the 17° and 18°; and a Consistory of Sublime Princes of the Royal Secret, that confers the 19° through the 32°.

It should be noted, however, that in Connecticut, there are only three Consistories: the Valleys of Bridgeport, New Haven and Waterbury all comprise the Lafayette Consistory.
